Employees at IHC Scott gave back at the annual Christmas in the City event last week, hosted by the Denver Dream Center.
Taking place at Coors Field for the fourth-consecutive year, volunteers were able to provide food, clothing, and Christmas presents for those in need during the holiday season.
IHC Scott supplied gifts for eight families with a total of 20 children, ranging in age from three months to 17 years. Heartfelt appreciation was given from each of the families during the event. Most weren’t sure how Christmas would happen this year due to difficult circumstances.
Combined with IHC Scott’s efforts, this year the Denver Dream Center helped donate 600 coats, 1,100 pairs of shoes, 2,000 bags of food, and countless stocking stuffers to over 800 families. More than 3,000 children were provided for in the Denver community, with resources reaching over $500,000 in value.
IHC Scott is proud to give back to those in need in the Denver area. Our involvement reflects our values of building a better community and our commitment to the public trust.
