IHC Scott recently sponsored the Big Dig Northern Denver event in coordination with the American Cancer Society.
Families were invited to bring their children to learn more about the construction industry and to help raise funds for pediatric cancer research. IHC Scott employees took time out their busy days to participate in the important event.
Kids love big trucks and digging in the dirt, and we had a blast showing them construction equipment while giving them a chance to operate it—with assistance to assure their safety, of course. The Big Dig gives local children, particularly those connected to cancer, the opportunity to relax and have fun for a day.
In conjunction with other sponsors and construction companies, we helped raise generous funds to donate to the American Cancer Society for pediatric cancer research. Cancer is the second-leading cause of death among children, and Clyde Companies is honored to help children in this cause.
Several other Clyde Companies subsidiaries participate regionally in Big Dig events throughout the year including Geneva Rock, WW Clyde, and Blount, the Southwest Division of WW Clyde at the Phoenix event.
