Installing 1,000 feet of 10’x10’ box culvert and another 3,300 feet of 90” and 84” RCP drainage pipe through an old army base and the busy intersections of the active University of Colorado Hospital site is not an easy task. Paving the way for a new, seven-story parking structure, IHC Scott first constructed a new holding pond, then threaded its way through the busy site – at times, up to 20 feet deep, dodging pockets of asbestos and unidentified utility lines along the way.
