US-34 Reconstruction

After the 2013 floods wiped out a large section of US-34 east of Greeley, a long-term solution was needed. Working with Flatiron Construction, IHC Scott removed over 40,000 square yards of old concrete and asphalt pavement, regraded the roadway, and laid down over 17,000 tons of aggregate base course. Over this, IHC Scott placed over 46,000 square yards of new 9.5” PCCP concrete paving, providing a new, smooth, and better draining roadway in Weld County.
